The Canadian Language Benchmarks system is a way of measuring English language ability across different language skills. Each course at Britannia is linked to the CLB system.
There are twelve benchmark measurements that go from 1 to 12. At Benchmark 1 you are on your way to starting out in English with a few simple words. By Benchmark 8 you are starting to get close to native speaker ability in controlling and understanding everyday English.
At Britannia, our teaching system tracks your level carefully so that each lesson moves you one step closer to the next benchmark.
